ENDODONTICS

Deals by treating tooth with deep-seated cavity that have reached the nerve, saving it rather than extracting the tooth.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

When a tooth becomes painful and a deep-seated decay is
found, most likely it has reached the nerve. This requires complete removal of the infected nerve, and the canal/s is the cleaned to eliminate chances of reinfection. This is done as a conservative option of saving the tooth, rather than extracting it.

APICOECTOMY

In some cases wherein root canal treatment fails, this surgery can be done by directly removing the cause of infection at the tip of the root. Bone removal is necessary, but still a better option than having the tooth extracted.
